101 Days Avenue — Small Business Incubator
This project is housed in our largest formerly vacant building located in the heart of downtown Buchanan. 101 Days Avenue is currently undergoing extensive redevelopment efforts. We host emerging businesses to provide an additional food/retail space for the community as well as a launch pad for these businesses to be ultimately self-sustained and placed in our community.

An incubator is designed to help entrepreneurs form their business models from the ground up.
Incubator programs vary, but all have the same end goal of launching a fully functioning small business.
Incubators provide startup companies with office space and a comprehensive menu of professional services and advice.

The building was bought and renovated by the Rowland Property Group who lease the space to us - LiveBuchanan. Our team is devoted to downtown revitalization. We thought one of the best ways to support this goal would be to attract and support young local businesses and help aid their growth in our community.

By year 5, that number goes up to 1 in 2. After a decade, only 3 in 10 businesses will survive. * However, new businesses that participated in a small business incubator had an 87% survival rate within their first 5 years - nearly double the success rate of startups that are on their own.
How do incubators support small business success? Through buffering, bridging, and curating.
